During the "Roots in Liaoning" Global Liaoning People's New Year Homecoming Reunion held here, Xu Kunlin, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress, Wang Xinwei, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Governor, and Zhou Bo, Chairman of the Provincial Political Consultative Conference, held cordial discussions with more than 200 Liaoning-born guests representing 38 countries worldwide, 21 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) in China, and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, sharing their nostalgia for home and discussing ways to revitalize the region. In his speech, Chairman Wang Heng detailed the pragmatic support provided by various departments in Liaoning to Liaoning merchants: the Provincial United Front Work Department and the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce hosted the Global Liaoning Merchants Conference, bringing together more than 700 Liaoning merchants from home and abroad to discuss development; the Provincial Department of Commerce organized Liaoning merchant representatives to participate in the Liaoning Investment and Trade Fair, promoting the signing and implementation of key projects; the Provincial Council for the Promotion of International Trade organized entrepreneurs to participate in the World Expo in Osaka, Japan, promoting Liaoning overseas; the Provincial Overseas Chinese Affairs Office organized overseas Chinese representatives to train at Xiamen Overseas Chinese University, deepening their sense of national identity and responsibility; the Provincial Department of Commerce also sent letters of support to the embassies and consulates of overseas business representatives, establishing a linkage mechanism. "These effective measures all show us that our hometown is integrating into the global community with a more open and confident attitude, making us feel deeply proud and honored."

Chairman Wang Heng stated that today's Liaoning boasts a clear development strategy, an excellent business environment, and a high-tech information platform, making it the best time to invest and contribute to the hometown.
