About this Event

 

 

Latest technological developments revolutionize the worldwide financial sector. FinTechs are penetrating nearly every financial services segment, driving innovation and disruption.

 

Speaking of China's FinTech landscape, China has leapfrogged from cash to mobile payments, by bypassing the payment cards system. In terms of mobile cash transactions, China is years ahead of other countries and is well on its way to becoming a cashless society.

 

Germany's FinTech capability is improving rapidly, investments in young FinTechs are growing, however, the FinTech acceptance still ranks behind Spain, Brazil and India. China is the front-runner. During a roundtable discussion, experts from Germany and China will discuss about

 

• what companies from both countries can learn from each other,

• the benefits and chances in cross border collaboration,

• how the FinTech scene will likely to develop in the future.
